Versatile Entertainment Control with GoFlex TV / Theater+ Remote
The GoFlex TV / Theater+ Remote by The Questmaster offers a seamless solution for managing your home theater devices, enhancing viewing experiences with its intuitive design and robust functionality.
This network remote control can replace your FreeAgent's IR remote and allows text input from your phone's keyboard. It manages control of your Theater+ or GoLive TV through an Android Wi-Fi connection. Both your Android device and Theater+ or GoFlex TV need to be connected to the same network. The Theater+ or GoLive TV can connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Please note that only the most recent firmware version of the Theater+ or GoFlex TV supports all the features.

Known issues:
- Some software keyboards may not be compatible. If you experience difficulties, try using the Android keyboard. Keyboards known to work include: Android keyboard (and compatible), Swype keyboard, Nuance XT9 keyboard (e.g., Transformer Prime).
- The FreeAgent cannot be powered on with the remote control due to hardware limitations of the FreeAgent and GoLive devices.
- Text entry must be done in one go; moving the cursor or inserting text at a different point is not functional - a limitation of the FreeAgent (backspace works).
Permissions:
- INTERNET: Mandatory for the remote to access your local network and send commands to your FreeAgent.
- ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Used to verify if Wi-Fi is enabled, prompting you to enable it if not.
- VIBRATE: Enables vibration feedback when a button on the remote is pressed.
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Currently unused but required for a future update.
